Tell them that you didn't mean it. Now you learn a lesson. Never use those three little words because they mean a lot to someone. It hurts when someone tells you they love you and you later find out that they never meant it. So next time say it when you truely mean it.

I think you're going to be more specific in terms of what exactly happened but base advice I can try to give is just telling them you were mistaken when you said it and you that you misunderstood your own feelings. In addition, say you still think of them as a great friend and you hope you two can remain that way.

Again, it's hard telling you what to say exactly, as we really don't know the details for something like this but assuming you two are good friends, this should work.

Whether he told you I love you back or not. Talk to him and tell him the truth. You don't want to lead him on thinking you love him right?

Tell her the truth. It hurts at first but in the long run it's far better to be honest. Good luck.

Damn, that's the same thing that happened to me. You should tell them, you thought you were feeling love but it's truly isn't present. Be as sensitive to their feelings as you can. Love hurts!

Tell them the truth or you could really screw things up. If you didn't mean it then you need to fix everything. Saying something that you don't mean could be badly missinterpreted.
