Job said "though HE slay me, yet will I trust HIM." - does that answer your question? It certainly does mine. I know I can trust Him to do what is right and good whether I understand all of His ways and reasons or not (and usually you won't). But He is the ONLY ONE who holds life and eternity in His hand and I trust Him to give me both when I do it God's way and come to Him through HIS provision in Christ.

I think that it is common for people at some point feel helpless enough and feel the need to blame someone. It is something that I know I have done a very long time ago.
It doesn't make someone a bad person it just means that you are having a weak moment and that you need to step back and see what the real problem is.
Sometimes it is eaiser for people to blame God then take responisality for the things that they have done.
But in all God is the giver, the love, the way. For me he is what makes it all work

Read the book of Job!! It's great for when you are at the end of your rope. God gives us free will because He loves us. Maybe the question should be how many bad things have to happen before you surrender your life to God? He didn't promise an easy journey...just a happy ending! And lets not forget the counter-force!

No matter what bad things happen to me, there is no way I will curse and blame God. No matter what bad **** happens, God is still God, and I am still blessed to be within His grace and I am still His beloved child.
Look at Job. He went through quadruple hell and he still praised God. That is our example- probably why God put it in the Bible.

whatever your going through you thank God that it isn't alot worse and also God doesn't will bad things to happen. You have to think he knows its going to happen and he won't stop it but he doesn't will it. Some things are simply meant to be to make you a stronger person, I hope you come to realize that. When I go through something bad, I turn to God and pray that he'll help me through it and he does and its like I feel peace and all I have to do is ask and what does he get in return you ask? My heart. thats all he wants is your soul.

My sister was molested as a child, so was one of my cousins, my aunt was beat by her ex-husband, my grandmother got herpes from my then pastor grandfather (who got it from a Chinese whore as a missionary), I was abused both physically (once) and verbally (constantly) growing up, everytime I fix something two more unrelated problems arise (my father has the same problem), my grandmother has a four something heart problem (same grandmother), I can keep going on and on......

I use to blame God, now I just don't believe in him.

Whoever says people get what they deserve hasn't met my family and deserves to be decked in the face (my now 'evil' opinion)
So he doesn't exist and you know what? **** him if he does!

Well, you could be an ice skater that finds out he has cancer in both of his legs and has to have them amputated but not have the insurance to cover the operation because your lover died in a horrible airplane accident hence losing all insurance coverage. You can also find out that the child that you've been raising all your life is not yours and your lover told you a horrible horrible lie.

That's just an example.

Many people never blame a deity for the problems in the world or their lives specifically.

I would never blame God. You see its the devil's fault for all bad things, God can only do good.
