Not really, for some it comes with time. It will really hit you when you see that precious baby on ultrasound. For some, they have to actually see the baby to make it really real. For others, they have to feel that first kick. And some people it takes them giving birth and holding that little one, before reality sets in. And for others, maternal instincts have to be learned. Depends on what you mean by maternal instincts. I have a four-month-old baby (my third) and there are times I feel like my "maternal instincts" have dried up. If you are worried about something involving your baby, it's best to call your pediatrician. If you're just doubting that you have maternal instincts, just give it time, you'll learn what your baby needs/wants and be able to fulfill them just fine.

some people do, some people dont. At this stage in pregnancy a lot of women dont believe they are pregnant, untill they actually have there first scan, and see it for themselves.
Chances are then you will feel something then, but dont worry if you dont!!
You will no doubt have a rush of over-powering feelings when you see your baby for the first time. (although may i add,some women dont (very few minority), as depression has already kicked in)
Dont worry about it..... theres plenty of time, but if you have any doubts or concerns, talk to the midwife. thats what they are there for!

Some people do, some don't til baby is born, I did when i first heard his heartbeat, seen scan pics, and felt those first kicks, it was amazing.
So if u don't, please don't worry as at 1 month pregnant, it is all still a shock and it will come. Congrats on the pregnancy x

It varies from woman to woman - some women don't feel maternal until after the baby is born whereas others can feel it as soon as they are pregnant

your maternal instincts usually come n2 play when your baby is born. you have a lot of weeks left to get use to the idea of it..youl b grand love.
