A betta can make a great pretty pet, if kept in the right living conditions. Vases and most betta "houses" are death traps to bettas. They don't allow enough oxygen in the water.
Instead get it a 1 or 2 gallon tank. It will love you for it

do you mean a betta, like the fish? if you do, then yes they make very nice pets. just make sure you are feeding them right and caring for them correctly. you cant just take them out of their tank and cuddle them, but they are very fun to watch. i have a baby betta, and he is very adorable. he will grow into a very handsome boy when he becomes an adult. if youll keep your betta in a fish bowl, and not an aquarium, then it will grow slower than a betta that lives in an aquarium. if you do keep it a vase, then make sure you have oxygen. you can buy a cleaner for that to provide oxygen to breathe in the water, or buy a water plant. you can get them both at a pet store near by. if you dont then it will become a death trap for your betta(s). if youve seen how they look when they are fully grown and you like how they look, then do some reasearch on how to care for them, and there you go. you will do fine. they are very good pets. i hope this helped!
