If Jesus is son of god then who is the father of god, and if god has no father then wheres his mother, and if there is no mother then where did the father come from and where did the son come from?
and would that make mary magdelene the daughter in law of god?

Jesus isn't God, it wasn't even a consideration of the early church until about 1000 AD. Then the early church fathers had a big fight, and essentially killed off all the Christians who believed Jesus was a mortal man. It was wrong them, it is wrong now, and really what difference does it make? Descended from God, or actually God, a child of God or a part of God like we all are...

I've always wondered about that too. The Bible never says where God comes from or whom His parents were, grandparents and so on too. The book says to just believe and when u die, all questions will be answered. That's hard to do - I still wonder what's true or not. You know, science versus belief - it's a toughy!

God is the Creator, therefore he had no beginning, he has always been, which I know is a very hard concept for us to imagine, because we know that the things that are created had a beginning, but God is different from all of his creation.
Isaiah 55: 8 & 9: "“For the thoughts of YOU people are not my thoughts, nor are my ways YOUR ways,” is the utterance of Jehovah. 9Â “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than YOUR ways, and my thoughts than YOUR thoughts."

If you read the bible it is clearly written that God was, is and always will be. He was not created, a concept which does not sit easily with our limited knowledge. When asked for his name by one of the prophets the answer was I am who am.
