No one dares to admit it if they happen to live in one of the countries where Islam is Law.
This is why separation of church and state is SO great.

That is a pretty good question. I would think it depends on the nation and the amount of outside influence present in that society. If you mind your own business and not flaunt your beliefs you should be left alone in any of the metropolitan cities. Out in the stix you would probably have a choice of convert or lose your head. Just don't piss anyone off if you can help it-remember these folks hold a grudge for centuries.

It would depend on what nation. Not all are as horrible as people think. Yes in some an Atheist would be hung faster then a Israeli officer.

in a country like egypt and possibly turkey antheist are most likey disliked, jailed, even hatred

They get preached by the preachers and if they don't change their mind then they are left to be prayed for. In extreme countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, they might be killed.

There is no g-d but allah for those of islam... there is only one islam... there is only one quaran... the quaran is islam and islam is the quaran... all... ALL... who so not submit to the law of the quaran and islam are to be killed... the quaran is clear on that... that includes atheists
