First of all, if you don't want the person you are with then leave them. It's very selfish to keep them hanging on when you are looking around.
I have serious doubts that you know what love even is. It isn't something you pick up and put down like a toy.
You need to keep doing the dating thing and stay away from serious committment. You are really not ready for that.

If he is really your best friend you should be able to tell him anything so just be honest and open and if he doesnt feel the same way you should try to stay friends because you dont want to lose that friendship

well the first thing you have to do is leave the person you are with if you dont wnat to be with him...it isnt fair to him to string him along in the hopes that your ther friend will be with you eventually...
then just ask him on a date. Make dure he knows it is a date though because otherwise he may just hink it is 2 friends going out for the night ya know...

Well, first off, you should /probably/ dump the person you're with right now.
If your seriously in love with this guy (gal?) and he's a really, /really/, good friend of yours, try talking to him about it. Start off slow, just drop joking hints here and there. You might just find he loves you right back.

Just sit him down and talk and be completely honest with him. Maybe he feels the same way about you as you feel about him honesty is the best way to get things out in the open.

if he is your best friend he understands you more than anyone and probally already knows. Just tell them. It's your best friend you can talk to him.
