My aunt and uncle pay for my tuition through the texas tomorrow fund (a savings program they did years ago). That only covers my tuition. I want to see if I can get financial aid to help with books and living expenses. My mom and dad make about $50,000/yr if that and my mom's salaray is about to be cut. My question is, could I get financial aid although my tuition would already be paid for?

There are some options for you. However with your parent's income federal aid is probably not the answer.
Search on Fastweb.com for scholarships to help with living expense funds (These are rare and hard to find)
The best option would be to apply for a living expense loan through a bank. Bank of America has a loan called the Maximizer loan that is for living expenses.
