I thought it was Anglican but my friend went tonight to get ashes for ash Wednesday so I was confused. Which is it?

Some Protestant denominations name their houses of worship after saints as well. The Anglican Church is very close, doctrinally, to the Catholic Church. Evidently, Ash Wednesday is a tradtition Catholicism shares with Anglicanism.

Which one? St Paul's Cathedral in London is Anglican.

St Paul's Cathedral in St. Paul, MN is Roman Catholic.

I'm sure we could find more of both religions. Some Anglicans get ashes. In fact -- some Anglicans consider themselves to be Catholic -- just not ROMAN Catholic. The two religions are very similar.

All Saints are from the Catholic Church....cannonized as "Saints"...."I believe in the Catholic church ,the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins..."

And the word "Cathedral" should tell you something....

Hmm. Just looked at the post below and that is so weird, I know Anglicans are very close to Catholic, but how can it observe a Saint and also be called a Cathedral?

It is Anglican.
Ash Wednesday and Lent are observed by Anglicans as well as Catholics. Probably by other confessions as well, such as Presbyterians, although I cannot confirm that.
