what are some good questions to ask on a first date to really get to no someone?

on all my first date, i just try to keep an engaging conversation. there aren't any good or right questions, just be yourself and talk about whatever you want to talk about.

A few first date tips:
1) Don't talk long on the phone before the date. Use the phone only to set-up your date. This way you have more to talk about on the date. Use this technique for future dates too. Be polite, but short.
2) Do not talk about past relationships
3) Do not talk about religion, politics, or other highly debatable topics.
4) Talk about fun stuff, things you like to do, and most important ask her simple questions and let her do most of the talking.

Ask her things that you like and know about or listen to her and find out what she is into. Or the stand by questions. Favorite color, what kind of food she likes, lucky number, places she has been. In fact make it all about her. Find out all about her and take it from there.

when was the last time you went on a date?
where did you go on your last date?
what type of music do you listen to?
what was the last movie you saw?

As your talking see if you can find a area that you both did or
like ( moves, sports, Auto racing, Music, photography,camping, dancing, schools) and go from there........Good Luck.....Mel.....
