It's good to know both....

Yes....we are wretched sinners in need of a Savior....that is the state of everyone who is alive.

But..

Yes....we should also exude a little confidence as well. We don't need to walk around life with our heads low and become door mats.

I understand so well what tribulation means, that I can't turn my head around to let you alone deal whit. To my own knowledge the best way to deal as Christians with our believed and don't make an attempt to kill some of those that live because the Air is free. Put your intensity in check, and allow your self to be more sensitive, which the work of the living energy, we are supposes to elevate,to help our self's to as well elevate our poor material existence. I say this because the material world in which we leave although it could have come the perfect world to practice a physical existence, isn't is only good to practice humanity with-in the material existence. tolerance will make you sore higher, into more of HIM(God), heavenly existence.

The righteous are bold as a lion. As a christian I know that sin will convict and make me feel like a defeated wretch. Thank God for His grace that helps us to continue pressing toward the mark and to get back up if we fall. We can get the victory over sins in our lives and when we do it's glorious. The righteous can be bold as lions because they are fighting a good fight, they are resisting the devil, they are walking in the spirit and not in the flesh. Christians ought to judge themselves to see if there is any unchecked sin in their lives if so you'll be hard on yourself until you reach the point of getting the sin out, then you'll be victorious. The sad truth for many, however, is that some will live in a defeated state under the rule of sin and never really experience much victory in their lives. But God desires victory for us, so He calls us to be good soldiers always fighting against the flesh and temptations! VICTORY IS PROMISED TO THE CHILD OF GOD.

Find a middle balance there hon, lol. You are not garbage or worth nothing ... if you were worth nothing, what does that say of the sacrifice of Jesus? You are a precious child of God, so valuable to God that He sent His Son to help you find your way to Him.

But neither are you above anyone else. Do not classify yourself as deserving, for you are not, do not take on conceited airs as though God loves you because you are somehow more special than any other child of God. You are not God's favorite lol, but you are His precious one. Just as a mother and father love ALL their children.

You need to view yourself like God sees you. Why beat yourself down for what Christ did for the WORLD,not just you! Honey it's time to lift up your head o ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors, and the King of golory shall come in. WHo is this King of glory , the Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. When Christ died ont hat Christ that was th shut the devil out of your life forever. Notive I said out of your life not to stop him from trying to influence your life and that's a bigg difference. Get into your world and look and see what God is saying about those who love Him and choose toserve Him. I guarantee you'll have a new love, joy for yourself. An you'll love God even more, because we as humans have never experience love like God's love. There's no love like His. SO ask Him for it. Just tell Him like this God I love you but give me the desire to love you more, to seek you more, to want to know you more. In any relationship once you spend a lot of time with that person you start seeing them differently. Same with God. You start seeing the love of God, even when all kinds of junk has broken out in your life. Be blessed!

I believe the best thing we can do is admit that we are no better or no worse than anyone else. We are just normal people. Being Christian does not change our humanity. It is true the extremes you mention are unhealthy and unfortunately common. You are not required to choose either one. Peace be with you.

Christians are sinners who need to confess their sins and repent everyday. Christians are also saints because Jesus took their sins, died for them, rose again, and put His righteousness on them in their baptism. Christians have to remember that they are sinners and saints at the same time. They will struggle everyday because of this fact. Therefore, Christians feel bad because they are sinners, but feel glad and joyful because Jesus gave them His righteousness. Yay!

Get into the Psalms and start reading. They will help you to see how you are loved despite being sinful and how God sees you as precious in His sight. That's the healthiest way.....

No, we don't think of we are extra effectual. we adore atheists through fact we adore absolutely everyone. God tells us to love absolutely everyone through fact if we do bot have love, we've no longer something. we are blessed, and saved, and we'd desire to help others discover Christ. yet this is using the fact is the existence we choose. we aren't any extra effectual than absolutely everyone.

I'm not sure as to what Christians you have encountered, but they sure don't go to my church. Christians are to be loving, humble, non-judgemetal, courteous, neighborly, hosts, brotherly or sisterly. We are to be servants of The Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit.
