No. Apple juice does not contain many nutrients, and it's sugars depress an otherwise healthy toddler appetite.

Try feeding the child 4-5 well balanced meals/snacks and give plenty of water in between meals to satisfy thirst or sucking needs.

It is really bad for anyone- especially the young- to drink juice of any kind. I'm not a fanatic and we drink juice from time to time but most of the time, my daughter only drinks milk or water and gets a lot of cut up fruit with her meals. Drinking juice is basically the same as eating sugar way too fast without the benefits that fruit has to offer like the fiber and even the nutrients, which diminish as time goes by from the time the juice was made- especially after the first 10 minutes of it being made. Eating fresh fruit slows the sugar intake down (since you can't eat it as fast as you drink it) and allows a person to get all the nutrients in it as well as the fiber. There is a huge movement towards eliminating juice from children's diets but the old mindsets are hard to remove. We all grew up on juice and it seems like there was no harm in it. But look at the obesity and diabetes rates! Too much sugar is to blame.

Short answer: nope. A toddler should have less than 8 ounces of juice a day. I'm not exactly sure what you think is "lots." Also, you should dilute the juice half and half with water. Too much juice can lead to watery stools and diarrhea in children. It also is a sweet drink and children tend to ask for it all the time. Children should drink 16 ounces of milk a day and water.

Toddlers should only have about half a cup of juice, apple or whatever, even 100% real juice, a day because of the sugar content.

Apple juice is good for children but not a lot of it. The sugars can rot their teeth. I always dilute my child's apple juice with half water. That's best.

no, This will sound cruel, but my niece and nephew are ages 4 to 20 months. My mom gives them apple juice all the time because my sister demands her to. My niece's teeth are brittle and she actually has a whole in her tooth at age 4. My nephew has horrible teeth brittle also, yellow, and jagged looking. My son who is 2 never had much of juice just milk and water, and he brushes his teeth, and has perfect white teeth. You can't give them more than 4 ounces of juice a day, plus it makes them have diaherra.

We did, and when my son was 5 he had to have a mouth full of fillings. To much sugar, even though it is all natural. We stopped with the juice, and now just do water and milk on occasion. It was hard at first, but they got used to it fast. We did not want the same thing to happen with our younger son.

no, maybe wait until they are older like at 6 and older. apple may have some nutrients but not alot. it has alot of sugar. stick to water and milk or maybe try to make ur own apple juice, something healthier. my 2 year old baby cousin doesnt drink apple juice but we make homemade juice such as guava juice (u may have not heard of these fruits), orange juice (not to bitter, sour, sweet, we make perfect) umm watermelon juice and stuff like that.

there's a impressive style of sugar in apple juice and so confident it ought to reason diarrhea, i might attempt the two slicing it down in his nutrition plan or diluting it with water. My little ones do no longer drink juice via fact of that reason. maximum juices (even the a hundred% ones) have a impressive style of sugar in them. solid luck!!

Apple juice can be pretty sweet, the vitamins are good but try diluting it, when they are young the sweetness of the juice can make there teeth rot.
