No (to the 'past life' part of the question)... 1 life, 1 soul = no do overs.

Yes, you can be born again in the sense that included spiritual birth. You remain the same person and the same shell and the same lifetime. Being born again happens in a spiritual sense within the world you currently live in.

Not entirely, if I am correct the only thing that separates humans from one another is genetics, the environment, and experiences. Genetics is passed down from your parents, the environment and experiences form your mind. Memories acquired are stored physically through neurons in your brain.

The human species does exist after we die, and continues to breed. There might be a remote possibility that an identical person were to be born with the same genetics as you had (even cloned) but the memories would not exist because of two reasons:
One the memories can not be passed from one individual to the next because they are an actual physical construct. The second reason is because it is impossible to design an exact environment that the original person had been raised in, and thus there would be different experiences.

Now as I said, we are all basically the same except for genetics, environment, and experiences. We all share the same basic conscious structure. If you were to think of it you and I are only separated in person because of the three reasons I gave above. Otherwise you could be me and I could be you.

So while I believe the same consciousness exists, we no longer exist as an individual after death. We cease to to be able to experience the consciousness because our body is no longer able to process it. We can not pass on our memories, or self identity to another person.

chances are you have the spirit of somebody from the past, whether you are aware or not. Some people choose to be a past life reborn. Some were born this way, some weren't. Nobody is doing anything new.

I only believe what My creator Father in Heaven has revealed to us thru His Word, the Holy Bible. Past lives has no part in Truth, according to God. We were created once, to die once PHYSICALLY. You are confusing the term "born again" with the physical!! It is a Spiritual matter!! Being born again is dying of our fleshly, selfish nature (the Adamic nature) = selfish, sinful nature and asking Jesus to come into our hearts and create a new nature in us = in Christ's image,. born again into a new creation. Read about Nicodemus in the gospels, he had the same question and tried to apply it to the physical body as well, as he misunderstood what born again meant. But Jesus clarified it,, as He will with any of us if we would only ask and pray. Jesus said, "You receive not, because you ask not". We all have 2 choices to make before we leave this planet in God's timing: To stay in our old, Adamic state with sin, or to be renewed by the cleansing of Jesus's atonement for our sins, be forgiven and thus without sin, be able to enter into Heaven. Sin cannot enter the third heaven where God is, and neither can sinful man, but God provided us a way thru His Son Jesus - Salvation. Go to God for answers if you want the TRUTH, not ignorant of the truth people who most are, due to their refusal to look to the truth for the right answers. Some will tell you truth as they use discernment thru God's word, but unless you use discernment thru God's word, how will you know who and what to believe? God gave us the Bible as a manual to live by, USE IT!!

Reincarnation is an interesting concept to consider, but I've never seen any evidence for it being real.
