iam going to sign up for the army tuesday and i get coldsoars every 3 months or so, I was wondering how to get rid of them quicker and how to prevent them from interfering with pt at basic training. and will the doctors there let me use abreva or bactroban while training, and will i have to go to med bay (I think its called?) any info is greatly appreciated

try taking Lysine, daily dosage one tablet.
(find at the vitamin supplement counter)

It's called Sick Call... and yes... you'll be allowed to use your meds. You need to check with the recruiter to verify, though. Policies change all of the time.
