Yes, because it is a type of chemical that dries things out. If it can eat through earwax like a hot knife through butter, your skin is so much more sensitive. It is just making you dry to the point that your skin really needs moisture and begins to itch.

Hi, yes, it made me very itchy but it was worth it. After 6 months my acne had completley cleared up. Hang in there and all will be fine. Maybe speak to your doctor/pharmacist about changing the strength. :)

well it depends on each person, some people are allergic to it and some people are not. to know for sure, you can try a product (like proactive) on a small section on your skin and leave it on for about 12 hours and see if you have any negative reactions to it
