I and many others give Pope John Paul II a great deal of the credit for the fall of the Soviet Empire. He was the spiritual leader of roughly one billion Catholics and was born in Poland. He basically told the people behind the Iron Curtain that you do not have to live like this, you should not put up with this. The leaders of the Soviet Union were more rational that Kim Jong Il. When the people refused to believe Pravda any more, when the people refused to sacrifice any more for the war against capitalism, the Soviets knew that they had it.

Now how do we get rid of Kim Jong Il and the rest of the North Korean regime?
