If that's how you really feel, you need to let him know. It's probably the best thing you can do to prevent further emotional pain. It'll only make things more complicated for both of you if you don't tell him. There's nothing you can do about it, if he feels more like a friend to you than anything else, there's no sense in pretending to feel something you're not feeling at all. These things happen sometimes.

TELL HIM....Be honest with him, Be honest with yourself.
Let him know that you either want more from him, or you are better off as "just friends". Saying nothing could be keep you or even him from being with a person that fulfills the relationship needs/wants.

Tell him your true feelings. Afterwards, ask him if he feels the same way. Or just tell him that you are not ready for a relationship, and that you need to think things through.

Enjoy the dates. Work on turning it into what you want it to be. Pack it in after a year if you don't get what you need.

well then you should break it off.dont leave him in the dark.im sure he would prefer to know.its just a waste of time if you keep the relatonship there hanging like that.does he feel the same way you do?
