No way, I mean my mom flipped when I asked a guy out, but I don't care. If you want someone, go for it. The guy that is your soul mate could just be really shy and how would you know unless you went for it? Some guys really like it.

When I want to ask a guy out. I use soft suggestions. It's asking without asking. Like saying "it would be fun to watch that movie". Then the guy would ask if I were free in the weekend to watch that movie.

No, I dont think that it is weird to ask a guy out. I think that you will want to think about how you introduce it though... I would suggest asking the guy if he would want to grab a cup of coffee, slice of pizza, a movie, etc. I would focus on the activity to make it more casual at first. Trust me...he will catch on.
