Undoubtedly! Imagine you have batteries that are worn down & need recharging to make you well. You shouldn't waste the juice on exercising - wait until you are topped up for that. People who do exercise while ill are MAD & asking for trouble. It might make the odd one or two FEEL better but it's not good for your body.

Light exercise won’t harm you, and it will probably make you feel a lot better, however if you have a temperature, raised heartbeat, it is best to just sit it out and let yourself recover.
When I was ill my heart rate was 20 beats more at resting, which doesn’t sound to much until you hit intensive exercise and reach 170bpm adding 20+ on top of that is just a bit too much!

YES it might as your immune system is already compromised with the virus, and because exercise also lowers your immune system if done hard it may delay your recovery or make you feel worse, so wait untill your better, or only do very light exercise like walking!

Good advice- Gomer the Carpathian *CaFO* Did you know the new way they do this operation? They now do it laser, no cuts, done through the mouth, and only up to 2 weeks off work. (If you do decide the operation), also I'm told medical can kick in some help with the bill, if doctor signs a letter saying: It is a matter of life, or death situation.) If I felt that strongly about having it done...I would do it, as it is a personal decision.

It could make your cold much worse as you could weaken your immune system during exercise. Take the time off and get better then resume your exercise routine when you are healthy.

Light exercising can help you a ton. Just taking a short walk, or stretching can do wonders for many people. You just have to be careful not to over do it, and remember to drink lots of water. Take care, hope you get better soon. :)

Slow it down.
Get lots of rest and fluids. When you return to exercising, go slow.

If you are having sypmtoms from the neck up, it's ok to exercise. If your sypmtoms are from the rest of your body (vomiting, body aches, etc.), you need to rest.

REALLY, EXERCISING DURING BEING SICK IS BAD , OUR BODIES NEED TIME TO HEAL WHEN WE ARE SICK
YOUR SICK CAUSE YOU ARE BURNED OUT , EXERCISING WHEN WE HAVE COLDS AND / OR FLU'S SHOULD NOT BE ..OUR IMMUNE SYSTEMS ALSO NEEDS A CHANCE TO HEAL OUR ILLNESSES
