I can eat and then as soon as I'm done eating I'm still hungry. It's been this way for a few days. Today I ate a pack of peanut butter crackers(200 calories) for breakfast and then two more for lunch. I also have been snacking on some sunflower seeds! I'm 21, at 5'4 and weigh 112, active and have never had weight problems before. Could it be my metabolism or me about to start gaining weight?

Well, yesterday I had a whole bowl of chicken salad, like with grapes and apples too and I was still starving after I finished it for lunch. Btw, I do eat normal meals for dinner, like chicken and vegetables, etc

Well, you're not eating much at all, have you always eaten like that? Plus you're not eating wholesome foods. I think you're headed for a lot of problems if you keep eating like that.

Hey, I got this off a website called QualityHealth.com:
Hunger can strike at any time. Do you end up snacking your way through the morning and afternoon hours? Or perhaps you find yourself still dissatisfied, just moments after you've cleared your plate.
Recent findings have uncovered the 5 reasons why people get so famished – and a foolproof plan to keep those hunger pangs away. For example, eating sparingly throughout the day can lead to binge behavior at night. Though, munching on small meals throughout the day will keep your hunger at bay – and your metabolism on the right track.
5 reasons you're always famished — and how to break the cycle!
1. You eat the right foods at the wrong times. Eating at different times every day can make it difficult for you to tune in to your body's hunger signals. It can also throw your metabolism out of whack. Try writing out a schedule that focuses on eating within two hours of waking up, and every 3 to 5 hours after that for the rest of the day.
2. You don't eat the right breakfast. The breakfast foods you choose will have a major impact on how satisfied you feel the rest of the day. For example, a breakfast bar may seem like a good choice at the time, but its mega-dose of simple sugars will have you rummaging through the fridge well before lunchtime. Instead, build a morning meal with a healthy balance of protein and carbs — so you're not counting the seconds 'til noon.
3. Your diet has no flavor. If grilled chicken and steamed veggies are your mealtime staple, you're going to get bored. And this is when dangerous binges can occur. Get creative in the kitchen with spices galore — they're a quick and guiltless way to really add great flavor! Texture is also key. Aim for combinations of creamy, crunchy, and chewy — to kip your taste buds on their toes!
4. You stock-pile your calories. Do you eat so sparingly during the day that you're famished by the time dinner rolls around? When you skip meals, it's harder to think straight, so you're less concerned about the implications of what you do eat. Try limiting the size of your evening meal so you wake up eager for breakfast. And even if you're not hungry, be sure to eat regularly throughout the day — to help to avoid a diet disaster come dinnertime.
5. You drink your meals. With the ever increasing lattes for breakfast and smoothies for lunch, many of us are drinking our calories away. But these beverages can leave you feeling dissatisfied. The reason? Chewing causes the release of hormones that signal fullness, and solid food is also digested more slowly than liquids. Next time, try a slice of toast with peanut butter — or yogurt with fruit. Just as easy, and far more satisfying.

Well, I know you're dieting, and I dont want to throw you off, so drink plenty of water. Usually overweight people are so used to expressing all signals into hunger (anger, boredom, etc.) so thrist is mistaken as hunger. As well as this, emotional eating is a problem so if your bored or upset and feel like eating, think of the food being covered in magots, etc. to make your body feel less inclined to eat it. Then, think of a time of immense pleasure so you get the feeling you would from eating. works for cravings too. I reccomend Paul Mcenna for losing weight. His ideas include eating when you are truly hungry becuase dieting severely slows metablism because your body thinks a famine is on. But also not to eat in excess like naturally thin people, by using his methods.

If you're only eating peanut butter crackers and sunflower seeds, I could see why you'd be hungry. It's a mystery to me why I'm really hungry some days, and other days, not so much. Just learn to control your cravings and try not to eat when you don't schedule yourself to.

The only thing I could think of is that if you have been eating more sweets than usual lately your insulin could be spiking when you eat. This will cause you to be hungry again shortly after eating something sweet. If you think this is the problem just cut back on sweets and carbs.

You are definitely not eating enough you have to eat a four course meal. Or a whole salad or a bowl of soup something more fulfilling
