#1. All I asked what what people on here think the perfect song would be. I'm just curious.
#2. I'm not engaged, once again, I was just wondering what other people thought about this topic!

Here's your "$0.02" back.

I Loved Her First....by Heartland is a beautiful song that your dad & you could start out dancing to & then have your new husband cut in.

Another suggestion: We've Only Just Begun.....by the Carpenters

Best wishes to both of you! May you have many years of happiness together.

Really, you should come up with your own.

Honestly, who gives a crap what a bunch of anonymous doofuses on Yahoo Answers say?

See, your first dance as husband and wife is something you'll always attach special meaning to and it'll be better if the song you pick is special to YOU. Not us.

Just my $.02....

Oh, and congratulations to you and your fiancee....

EDIT: My apologies. I thought you were looking for suggestions for yourself. Apparently, I misinterpreted your question.

Anyhow, ideas of what *I* think would be good?

Look at you, Girl -- Chris LeDoux
Your Song -- Elton John
White, Sandy Beach of Hawaii -- "Bruddah Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole
Have you ever Really Loved a Woman -- Bryan Adams
...I could go on.

Whip It ;-)) (I can't stand smarmy saccharine sentimental songs, but that's my own taste.)

Devo Whip It Lyrics

Crack that whip.
Give the past the slip.
Step on a crack.
Break your momma's back.

When a problem comes along.
You must whip it.
Before the cream sits out too long.
You must whip it.
When something's going wrong.
You must whip it.

now whip it.
into shape.
shape it up.
get straight.
go forward.
move ahead.
try to detect it.
it's not too late.
to whip it.
whip it good.

When a good time turns around.
You must whip it.
You will never live it down.
Unless you whip it.
No one gets their way.
Until they whip it.

I say whip it.
Whip it good.

Whip it gooooooood.
