Girls please advise;
I grew up with my best friend since grade school.
His sister has become the eventuality of a very good friendship over the years I've known her. But recently I've come to realize that I am utterly in love with her. About a year ago I told her that I liked her to which she reluctantly but sweetly responded that she saw me as a good friend. But recently we've been going out and having the time of our lives which to my response is " I can't relieve the strong feelings I have for her. "Flirting and the casual but ever so innocently touching games all become a factor of me thinking that she might feel the same way. I've known her all my life and she makes me think that if there is someone out there for everyone, She would be the one for me. What can I do about this frustrating situation????

Nothing....she told you she wasn't interested. If you stay fixated on her like this you are going to scare her away as a friend. However, you can tell her that it is hard for you to be close to her when she isn't sending clear signals. You can tell her that the touching and the flirting are making it difficult to remain her friend. You can say that you don't want it to stop....but if that is all that it is for her, it just hurts too much to continue. That will make you look sensitive.

Look, I'm inclined to agree with you that she is interested too. But you've got to lay it on the line....If you put it out there that you are only interested in something more....well, you might force her hand.

Now, you didn't mention how your Best Friend feels about you dating his sister. Word of advice: Be Honest. Throw it all out there on the table. He might punch you.....but then it will be over. He would be alot more disappointed and hurt if you snuck around.

Well I think that you should ask her if she has feelings for you too before you go and tell your best friend that you love the girl. Don't right out and say to the girl that you love her because that might scare her off but gently let her know that over the past couple weeks, your feelings for her are getting a little strong and you want to know if she feels anything for you. You sound like a really nice guy so I am sure that this situation will work out just fine.

Not a girl here, but as a guy who's sister liked his best friend when he was younger, i would strongly suggest you talk to yor bestfriend before you try to make something happen between you and his sister. Alot of guys are not okay with friends dating women in thier family. Hopefully he is mature about the situation, but even if he is not that doesnt mean you can still try for her. Thats a choice you have to make for yourself, but i know as a guy and a friend i would want to know first... otherwise it is going to seem like you are sneaking around his back. Who knows maybe he can give you some insight, after all it is his sister.

talk to your friend first then see what he says. if he's okay with you persueing his sister then talk with her about where the friendship/boyfriend line is crossed. that should give you an idea of her feelings for you. it may just be a friend-flirting thing or much more. but make sure your friend is okay with it first... no girl (or boy in female's cases) is worth a long-time friendship... there will be many girls but you can't replace friendships especially one's you had for a while. good luck and please send me updates on how it goes....

aww that is so sweet. You should tell her how you feel again. Maybe she does like you but does not want to cause inconvenience due to you being her brother's bestfriend. You also may want to have a talk with your best friend after you get feedback from her. You dont want to ruin a friendship over a girl(especially a sister). Good Luck!

You should tell her how you feel. However, don't go over the top because it could freak her out and ruin any chance of a friendship if she doesn't like you back.

I know how you feel! I was in love with my best friends brother, but I couldn't tell her. She thought it would be horrible if I liked him. I tried to get over him, and I always think I am... until I go over to there house and see him. I don't know if he likes me, but we always slow dance just for fun and hang out. But, because of my best friend, I can't do anything about it. I really don't know how to go about this situation, as you can tell I am in one myself. But, I just go out with other guys, flirt with others to get her brother off my mind.

Let love take its place. You sound VERY mature, so you should be able to wait patiently to let whatever is supposed to happen nautrally..happen. Hopefully you know that you cant rush this kinda stuff and justw ait and see what happens, dont plan it out.. just be daring and fun [BUT ALSO RESPONSIBLE] and relaxxing. Have fun and enjoy your friendship!!

you should wait a little while longer, then let her get more into you. if you feel strong enough, then you can ask about it, but not too much. and if you ask her out, the worst she can say is no, its not that bad. plus, if shes the right girl then things will work out as planned.
