I've been shaking on and off for the past two days and my heart sometimes beats really fast. I thought it could be just stress related, I've went through a lot the past three years. divorce, death of a close friend, and family member. And having three small kids. I am getting those going to the doctor jitters though. What do you think?

It sounds like you're having panic attacks. Women often have these in their mid twenties to late thirties. I had them in my earlier twenties due to stress related problems. You should go see a therapist. If you are having panic attacks I'm not sure what they could do for you. When I had anxiety issues they were able to give me valium so that when I got stressed all I had to do was take one to relax. I didn't want to have to take a daily pill, so this was perfect for me.

These are all symptoms of diabetes. Is she eating alot more than usual therefore the weight gain. There are three main signs of diabetes polyphagia (constant hunger), polydipsia (constant thirst and polyuria (constant need to urinate). People also describe being very fatigued all the time and have changes in their eyesight caused by retinopathy. Type 2 diabetes is hereditary and she should be seen immediately by a healthcare practitioner.

Go to the doctor and get it checked, if for anything peace of mind. It is probably just your nerves. Sometimes your heart beats faster because of a thyroid problem as well. Get some blood work done.

Stress can do alot of things to ones body. Are you taking any over the counter meds. If so read the box/bottle to see what side effects may be.If you are on prescribed meds I'd call my doctor or pharmacy.

Sounds like it may be a thyroid problem. Have you had extreme changes in your weight in a very short period of time (like gained or lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks)? You need to see a doctor.
