dirt and dust that we breathe into our trachea leading to our lungs must be cleared out, therefore being blown up by cilia hairs to the throat and coughed up then swalled down the gullet into the stomach

cough is defentive mechanism in our body to expel any forgin body ,piece of food passes to our respiratory tract and any ,mucous plugs or sputum accumelation with infective microorgansms during upper respiratory tract infection to protrct our airway passage
