His ex wife cheated on him for 3 years of their marriage and about 2 yrs ago they seperated. He did not date seriously anyone until I came along and we were a immediate click. Our first date was 11 hours long and we laughed and had fun all night. Our relationship was great up until about 2 weeks ago when he started shutting down emotionally. She found out we were together and started writing him emails again filling his heads with lies and he knows they are lies but he still is now confused and calls himself his own worst enemy. He now doesnt want this even though he has said he has been so happy and has been enjoying life and he loves me. How can I get him back to where we were before this happened.

this looks like his ex wife broke him emotionally, mentally and everything that came with it. he needs to find his way to be strong and be able to move on. you have to be his support system and let him know that he is not going through this situation alone and that he has positive people on his side. to build back to what he was and what you guys used to be, its going to take alot of time. plus at this time, a relationship is not the best thing right now because of this situation. be there for him as a friend and he will make it through it.

this ex of his is just filling his head up because she wants him back she dosent want him to be with anybody else even though she was never faithful to him just talk to him let him make his own decsion hell know what to do if he was to get back with her he'll know what he lost and he'll realize things arent what they were when he was with you
