BC is before Christ
ad, not ac is after Christ, in the Latin anno domini
i don't remember the Latin for BC, but the meaning is before Christ
today biblical scholars and scientist us bce:before the common era (marked roughly by the perceived date of the birth of Jesus, so the year zero doesn't change) and ce: the common era, which replaced ad, as in right now 2007 ce

I accepted Christ on my own. The bible is full of crap, it tells everyone what to hate and contradicts itself. The bible says that man should not lay with man and yet Jesus preached about loving your fellow man. Those two things contradict each other and there are multiple things that the bible has said that I have read that contradict each other. Believe in a loving and warm God, do not hate others because of the Golden Rule and the 10 commandments, obey them.

It's B.C. and A.D..
B.C.: Before Christ
A.D.: from the Latin Annus Domini (The Year of Our Lord)
Science books no longer use these abbreviations. Instead, they use:
B.C.E.: Before Common Era
C.E. : Common Era

You have it wrong. It's actually:
B.P. - Before 1/19/1809
A.P. - After 10/7/1849
