Whenever I'm cooking something that "needs a little something" I always turn to Old Bay. It's great on all meats & seafoods, most veggies, pasta salads, etc. Introduced to Old Bay in North Carolina....now live in Florida

I grew up in southern CA and live in northern CA now.
I use it on seafood of course, crab, seafood boil, fish, shrimp. But I don't care for it on lobster. But I have added it to baked pork chops and chicken. Spicy but good.

I used it in the midwest, but not on the west coast. The seafood from the west coast has its own flavor. But it's still good in crab cakes.

I love it. It's my "secret ingredient" in almost everything.
And I'm in Florida.
