Such a diet is foolish and unsaf!!!
Instead, try just eating fresh fruits and raw veggies with less meat and starchy foods with your meals. Ditch the fast food-they are loaded with caloires. Throw away the soda, tea (except Green Tea), and snacks and you will loose weight and keep it off if you dont turn back to the OLD WAY of eating. Of course, you know exercise helps a lot as well. Just plain walking carries a lot of benefits. That's what I've been doing for three months now and my body feels so much better!

Since water has no nutritional value it seems like this is starvation. You may want to look at this website for more info. It describes what happens over what periord of time. However, it doesn't give real specific time because it would depend on the person and their health/body etc.

I heard that you can go 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food and 3 minutes without air.

Depending on the amount of body fat they have to start with...quite a long time....many months.
You do a search for "hunger strike" .... the 3 days mentioned by others will fall into insignificance!

Along time. Water is essential to our bodies. You wouldn't die of dehydration, that is for sure. It could take months depending upon your fat stores. As for me, I'd probably live for a year or so!!! LOL

Off the top of my head the longest I've heard is 24 days. And that was a mountain climber who fell, broke most of his bones and had to survive by eating snow. He'd gone blind by the time he was found.
