If she is deaf, first get a vet to check her out-make sure she isn't in pain from something. Especially if you haven't taken her for her shots and spaying!! I am happy you opened your heart to this cat. After she is cleared, HOLD HER--stroke her. The deaf need physical contact. INcluding cats.Hold her close to your neck anf hummmm real loud. She'll feel the vibrations and it will feel like her litte rmates. I hope this cat is at least 6 weeks old. If not, please do take her to the vet so she can get the proper diet for her age. Make a safe place, out of the way of feet-so she will have a place to relax. Look face to face with her and stroke her.
With all this love, she'll settle down.

My cat is exactly like that. She craves attention and because shes deaf thinks that no one can hear her and screams louder. when you pick her up she'll stop whining. You'll just have to put up with her because you love her. Don't worry shes just lonely but don't get a kitten if she is old as it will always want to play with her and jump on her tail. We got a kitten and it did this and it felt left out when we told it off and shut it out of the room we were in if our cat Chloe was in there. When we went on holiday and my Grandma was looking after Chloe and Millie the kitten Millie got too lonely and ran away. However a few months later a Friend offered us two kittens which we accepted and they played together but Chloe has company so every ones happy.

Good luck

i have a deaf cat and he howls when i leave the house , they are noted for that and are very loud, you should pay a lot of attention to your cat and try not to leave your kitty alone to much.also you can teach your kitty hand signals it works.

Rose Bud is right. She needs kitty companionship. We have two cats, and it's much better for them.

Poor thing! Give her time and a lot of love.

Also, check her ears: They may be hurting her.

Good luck!

sounds like she needs a playmate, not another female but a male who is fixed so she won't get pregnant,if she is fixed.
