My God is the best because:
-He wrote an essay in 1848 that anticipated the theories of Einstein.
-He could tell a damn good story.
-He died in 1849. When He comes back, it'll be WAY more impressive than being resurrected after just 3 days!
-He married a 13 year old, which should appeal to Muslims.
-He's American, which should appeal to fundies!

Well, I can't say that my god is "better" than any other. It's just that he is better for me. I didn't choose him. He chose me. In fact, I knew very little about him before he decided that I was one of the ones he wanted. I thought I might be going crazy until I found a community of others like me online. And guess what, he's about the only thing we have in common. The rest of the group can't agree on anything else! This god is only concerned with us making the best of ourselves - not the little petty actions that people get so worked up about or what words we should best address him with. I'm not going to tell you the name of this god (only that I'm not Christian, but I don't disbelieve in their god either - I think the first commandment was an admission as well as a forbidding ;)) because I believe that when you need a god, one will reveal himself or herself to you. You don't get to choose which one. You might not even like the things that happen to you as a result, but that's only because you don't understand why they're happening. They never send you anything you can't handle though!

My opinion is that it really makes no difference which religion you are because at the end of the day there is nothing.
No heaven, no hell, no life everlasting, nothing.

Of course, I realise I will be totally screwed if I have got it wrong but then even that doesn't matter because all Gods are forgiving & I will be forgiven . Best of both worlds really.

Hrm,
the fact that you have to ask "which religion is the best religion" outta tell you there is something wrong w/ everyone who says "my god is better then your god" etc..
after all aren't those ideologies supposed to represent the same thing?

Believe what you want to believe, dont rely on the mis-informations of others and be a lemming/sheep to be carried into the afterlife..

A lot of people are looking for a religion where everyone can have their own view and go to heaven their own way. That's called a man-made religion.

There is one God and one way to get to heaven, and we can do nothing to earn it. The only thing we can do is to accept a free gift.

We were born into sin and since sin can't be in Heaven, we were doomed. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.

God knew this and loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for us, dieing with our our sins on his back.

We as humans are given free will, we can accept this free gift and go to heaven or reject it.

Romans 3:23 - For God so loved the world, he gave his only son, who ever believes in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

I am so Thankful that Jesus Died for me, I'm Thank-ful that he loved us that much, and i'm Thank-ful that Jesus didn't just die for the select few, he died for everyone.

A relationship with Christ is best.
Why? Well, all religions are man's way of accomplishing a feat pretty much impossible. Connection with God. If we connected with God, we would have access to wisdom of our creator. To the One that created us in our mother's womb. To the One that sustains the Universe. And if He created us, surely, He knows the most fulfilling way to live.

The God detailed in the Bible is about LOVE. Actually that's what is He's defined as "God is Love." And in response, He desires our love. "Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul."
From that basis... learning from the Bible is learning His ways and our response to such ways... in a constant relationship.

I hate to say this but there is only ONE God. The Bible is a 'Love Story' between God and humanity. Try and read it that way.
