Brains and personality are quite important, but not something you can tell at a glance.
The real question your asking is why guys are attracted to looks, initially. It has to do with the evolutionarily instilled male and female mating strategies.

Look if a man only see's you for your butt then he may not be the one for you. Any person that shallow to only look at the physical aspect of a person is totally lost. I mean I love to look at women like the next man but it's going to take a lot more than butts and breasts to keep me interested. If the woman does not have a brain and can't hold an inteligent conversation then I move on . It's not all men who think like that so just keep hope alive knowing that there are men in the world who really look at a woman for who she is and not just her butt and breast size.

Men like phat butts because it's a voluptuous area on a woman's body. Women with curves seem more feminine than those without. A small waist and a phat butt creates a nice curve.
As far as smarts go. I don't think men care too much about how smart women are. We definitely don't want a woman challenging our intelligence.

It's a very deep instinctual thing. On the most basic level, a man wants to have children to continue his seed. That's his interest in a woman's hips/rear. They point to a good child bearer. Also explains his interest in boobs, gotta feed the baby!
I am a man and the female body never fails to fascinate me. I like everything, but boobs are on the top of my list. Probably because I wasn't breast fed as an infant.

If they want more than sex they will look for a brain also. If their just looking for a one night stand or a booty call, they usually dont care if the girl has a brain or not. Long as they have the ***....i know. Its pitiful

first dont generalize.second first impressions depend on if its visual which is most or mental if u actual get the opportunity to start a conversation or share one with a woman.,third which is most important its how u r treated and feel and felt ,.i like a woman who speaks nice ,honest ,respectable and puts me in her life as a part ,and when she does anything for me i feel its so big even if it might be so small ,looks and physique within average is ok ,even below or above i dont discriminate on that ,all down to how u feel comforted with her ,hope u get it and was helpful
