I've been using it because just a few sprays is all you need, especially if you're hair is light to begin with. Lately, though, my hair has gotten really dry on the ends. Does this have anything to do with the few sprays I put in my hair, or is it a result of not having a haircut in a long time? Thanks

Sun-in definately has peroxide in it and that will dry out the ends of your hair. If you only used a couple of sprays though, I don't see how it could dry it out like that. I have used bottles of that stuff and it didn't really get that dry. Maybe you do just need a trim.

sun in is not a good product for your hair. It in itself will dry your hair out and is permanent. If you are going to use it keep your ends trimmed. My best advice is go to a beauty shop and let them cut your hair and give you the best advice on what is good for your hair. I used to use over the counter products and now only let a proffesional do my hair the results are better and they are done for my personnal choice and hair color

I HATE that ****! I have dark brown hair and it made the my hair almost completley blond from like 3 sprays....i thought it was supposed to be a highlighting system

I hate it for 2 reasons....

1) It made my hair turn ORANGE !
2) it FRIED my hair ! ( my hair was nice & soft & it made it feel like straw after using it a few times)

sun-in is nothing more than peroxide and it dries your hair out. i used to use it a long time ago to lighten my hair as well and would need to constantly have to trim my ends.
