They are one of the results of sin and imperfection. I would believe the only reasonable answer could be is, wait until it's known which sexual organs if any are functioning that could produce offspring if any, I believe it's usually female but I'm not 100% certain, anyway, An operation could correct this deformity, or the other alternative is complete celibacy.

If I understand correctly, a hermaphrodite is an animal or plant having both male and female reproductive organs.
According to scripture, God created humans "male and female." According to scripture, man fell into sin and became an imperfect organism. When that happened, the door was open for all manner of imperfect physical characteristics. Thus twins are born conjoined, babies are born with web feet, or they are missing limbs, born blind, deaf, even born with the total inability to feel pain. In the imperfection of man, something goes awry at the genetic level.
The gender of humans is not solely defined by their sexual organs, is it? Does a woman suddenly cease being female because she has a double mastectomy? Does a man cease being a man because he steps on a landmine and loses his body from the chest down?
The same Bible ethics and morals apply to all humans equally.

The term "hermaphrodite" goes back to ancient Greece where they thought the gods Hermes and Aphrodite had joined into one being. I don't recall it being addressed in the bible. I think the bible is more concerned with the spiritual body.

That is a good question, I feel that God would still love them, but man has twisted some of the information in the bible. Don't listen to hearsay about what someone would say about certain things in the bible, read it in it's entirety, because people can distort what is said in there really bad.

The bible probably says, "Though shall stone the men who walk with the body parts of women as well, for they come from the hand of the devil. For surely, this is a sin, and their blood will be upon them."
And then the bible would say something positive like this 2 pages down:
" God loves everybody."

Biblical ethics do not apply to any except those of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head...... All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and become part of The Body of The Church... ALL incluldes hermaphrodites.
Only those of The Church will enter Heaven..... it dose not matter who or what you are... if you are not of The Church you are not going to get into Heaven.

Bible ethics probably apply to them like everyone else-in a controlling, restrictive way. The bible is so much full of what not to do, and not enough of positive encouragement

My husband once asked that same question of people who were marching around, protesting the Da Vinci Code movie.
They were stumped.

What a situation. A hermaphrodite, being both male and female, would have to sleep standing up, according to Leviticus.

Biblical ethics don't, but God loves them and will care for them,
as he does everyone.
