I have been to the dentist, it is a cavity and I have an appointment to get it filled, but what do I do in the meantime. I have tried orajel and it works for a little bit. I am pregnant so I cant take really heavy medications. Anyone have any ideas. The pain is awful.

If it hurts worse then when you saw the dentist it could be a lot worse then it was. You should call your dentist tell them you cant wait for your appt. Hopefully they can see you today or tomarrow. The tricky part is that youre pregnant. Some dentists wont do anything if you are but they might be able to suggest somethings!

Go for an emergancy appointment at the dentist, they will perscribe a pain killer for dental issues and pop over to a pharmacy.

You can use Oil of Cloves which can be found at the drug store. Put a little on a Q-tip and hold it on the tooth. It will ease the pain and is 100% natural.
