I went out with a handsome black man recently and white men were the only ones that seemed to have a problem with it. My white girl friends thought it was great. Except for one, their spouses were very nasty and negative.
He told me that many black women are the same as the white men. So it seems that black men and white women are the least racist/prejudice.

I completely agree. Very rarely do you hear a black man bashing on another black man for dating a white woman. Most black girls and white men dont like it. From experience thats the way I see it. I think its basically a form of jealousy. I heard on the Tyra Banks show that basically a black girl is jealous because they think the white woman is "takin there men" and the other way around from the white men. Its rediculous!

I know what you mean. I think its always going to be an issue. Even if we all end up blending so much over the next thousand years, and we all look the same color, there will always be something different about some groups of people, that others dont like, and just have the mentality that the likeness should stay together and avoid mixing. if we all are the same color, people wont like it when people with big ears and feet mix with people who have small feet and ears. Its never ending.

I am White and only been with black women. Black women treat me so much better than any white woman(Had many) ever could. They care about me, treat me good, cook out of this world, and the big one, they out-do a white woman anytime!

its a preference, just like someone being attracted to men with muscles or slim women or any other preference
it doesn't always mean they are prejudice, although sometimes it may...i still think more white men are that way than women

the reason both races have this problem is because they hate to see a good looking or successful person dating the other race. If it was an ugly person or a poor person no one would care.
