The key word here is 'specialist'.
Yes, I would use either/or so long as they were official businesses as this way they would have insurance for any major mishaps.
I think the main thing is for the client to think about what result they are looking for and make sure they communicate this with the stylist. Ask around, there is bound to be someone close by who has used this 'specialist'. Were they happy with result, did the stylist 'listen' to their wants, would they go back again? (last one is most important question!
If you are a stylist yourself and thinking of getting 'into' extensions, then the same rule applies. What are you hoping to achieve, how can you realistically achieve it (ie publicity) and what are the pro's and con's of running a salon v going mobile. Speak to others in the business or contact your local business enterprise.

I would do it but make sure you know the person and seen a FEW heads he/she has done. I know this girl that went to a woman in Philly PA (where im from) and she got one of those fusion weaves that the stars got (Beyonce, Tyra Banks) It is supposed to look 100% natural. She said she saw all these pictures in her salon and they all looked good. Long story short her hair was a MESS in no less than a week. And we are talking a 800+ dollar weave. I have very long hair so I have no need for a weave but just make sure you check the person out VERY WELL. Good luck

I would do either one so long as I could afford it and it looked GOOD. Mind you you feel a bit more special going to the salon so I'd choose that!

well natural is always best so personally im growing mine but if you are thinking about having them make sure you get them done in a salon as it looks more decent as sometimes it can kinda look tacky
