I have dual citizenship (born in USA/naturalized in Canada) and I have not found any cons to this privilege. In fact, I have never heard of the "con" that mendi8a listed. If you are a citizen of a country, any other country cannot stop you from contacting YOUR embassy to receive help and any other country cannot prevent YOUR country from aiding you. As a dual citizen, you would be entitled to assistance from either or both of the countries that you are a citizen of.

pros, you can have a business in the other country without having to pay outrageous taxes, you can live in either country without a visa, you can vote in both countries.
cons, if you are dual, many countries will accept you as their citizen, and not let you get help from the US embassy.
