Hello,

I usually get a bunch of credit card offers in the mail, but recently moved, so haven't been getting them yet.

I am looking for a 0% on purchases credit card asap, to make a large purchase.

Anywhere on the internet where I can look for these special offers that are legit?

Pls advise. thanks

additional info. on my situation.

I have gotten a couple of 0% credit cards w/ offers for 1 year, before that one year is up, I transfer balance to a 0% or a 1.99% fixed credit card & continue with payments. Luckily I have not been hit up w/ the enormous interest rates & keep on top of things. Trust me, the purchases are for necessary things, not just for fun.

ps - my credit rating (even by doing things like this for a couple of years now) is ........ 798.

Washington Mutual or Household Bank. 0% offers are usually for balance transfers though, not purchases.

Credit Card Companies are in this business for a reason.. ITS A BUSINESS!! They have to make money. 0% interest on a "Purchase"? Not gonna happen. Usually 0% Interest is only on a balance transfer. And that in itself is usually for only a limited amount of time, usualy 10-12 months. After that you get hit with up to 23%. It could be lower than that of course but if your late with one payment, get ready for the higher percentages. My wife and I were late with one payement and got hit the next month with a 29.9% interest fee. So be sure and do your research first. And remember, its a credit card that DOES have to be paid back. Its not a liscense to shop. You will make up every excuse and make yourself believe yourself that its okay you'll pay if off. But believe me it adds up quick. The best thing to do is save a Credit card for emergency purposes only. It will boost your credit rating by showing never late on your report if you do this and just keep the account open with no balance at the end of every month.
