no, it is perfectly normal to do what you feel. if you were asking this because of you thinking about what someone would say, dont feel bad about it, i used to have braces and switch my colors on them with my style in clothing, and people respected something that they never thought someone would attempt, and thats one thing some people look on, and those are the people that love life. so forget those who tease, live your life.

I truly hope an orthodontist wouldn't put braces on you for fashion. Sometimes when people get braces, their gums can migrate downwards (and get red and puffy) and begin to cover their teeth (not attractive) Also you would have to keep the the teeth affected super clean with special toothbrushing techniques and flossing that is much more complicated than it is now. Otherwise, when the braces are removed you could have yellow spots on all your teeth and cavities.

If you mean for you teeth, I think you got your fashion senses messed up haha...braces arent cool, and there not fashionable..so yes, it is a bad idea to use them just for fashion. Also, no doctor would ever give you them if your teeth didnt need them.

If you are talking about braces for the teeth, then no don't get them for fashion! More of a fashion don't, but if you need braces for your teeth like if your teeth are messed up then get them!
