what does this mean, " .exe is not a valid WIN32 application"?

i purchased an ipod shuffle and am trying to download the software, it supposedly downloads but does not let me run the program or finish the setup, could it be that I am using a wireless modem...my phone?

Your using XP, and make sure you are downloading the 32bit software for the ipod...
