Closed down heaven and hell - deleted angels and souls and destroyed the afterlife entirely. Stopped listening to prayers and stopped paying attention to our world, and became a small blue creature on an ocean-world in another galaxy... would anyone notice?

That doesn't make any sense. We would all be "deleted" from this earth, galaxy, reality, whatever you want to call it. If God retired why would he keep us, mere mortals, around? Thankfully God is always faithful and never gets tired so he has no need to retire. wohoo for God!

Don't you think social security is under enough strain already? What would it cost to support a small blue creature, eh?

No.

We wouldn't even know if a alien race was taking over our planet. They would change the climate to make it inhabitable for us. Then they would adjust it for them. No war.

what a intriging question ..... since he is out of our logic of what "time" is, and is not a creature but the maker, he never has nor ever will "retire".

I doubt it, we'd eventually self destruct, which is why it is almost time.
