I love my neighbor by not coveting his wife.
I've seen her in a bathing suit. She really isn't worth coveting.

By the Grace of God which is the Holy Spirit, and by the compassion which His grace inspires, I do my best to love my neighbor as God loves me, by doing well by and for him. If it's only through fear, it isn't really love. By the same token, if it's only emotion, it isn't really love.
By the gifts which God gives us, totally free, we ought to be inspired to a similar generosity of spirit and action toward those around us, not only to 'pass it on,' but to show to those around us the bounty which God has granted us through Christ Jesus.
And, bear in mind that doing is what's important, not how you feel about your neighbor. God doesn't necessarily LIKE all of us equally, but He offers the same grace to each who will ask for it, and makes no distinctions in how His love is poured out upon His children.
The secret to loving your neighbor is to do it through both God's example and through His wisdom, to which all his children have access, if only they listen well enough.

The love for Christ which is in me naturally spills out to my neighbor. It's not always easy.......I'm still stuck in this human flesh......
