I'm not really in a major rush to potty train but she does like sitting on the potty she brings it to me sometimes and she sits on it every night before her bath although nothing happens.
Also when she has done a poo she runs to me clutching her nappy saying 'poo poo' and if she does a wee without her nappy on she takes great interest in it.
Where should I go from here?

your little treasure certainly sounds ready to be potty trained. my little girl was two and a half when we tried the first time and it was fine in the house but a total nightmare when we were out so we stopped and did it again about 9 months later and it was a complete success! your girl is quite young so you may have a couple of accidents, that said my daughter never was that good at communicating so i'd say you are half way there. I would also advise that you begin with knickers in the house to start with, most importantly if she does have an accident you need to try and play it down and not make a fuss, she will only get anxious and is more likely to have another one. If after a few weeks you are struggeling with it then maybe stop for a few months. But to be honest I don't think you will have any trouble. good luck with it

I agree with lily evie. It worked for me too. However you soon start to get sick of hearing yourself say 'do you need a wee' lol. Try taking her to the bathroom with you so she can watch mummy do it. Children often enjoy to copy what their parents do. Another thing which i don't mean to sound mean but if she has an 'accident' in her panties don't make a fuss and also leave her in the wet panties for a while. I'm not talking ages otherwise she will get sore just long enough for her to notice she is wet. You will soon find she doesn't like the feeling of it so rather than waiting and wetting in her pants she will start to tell you she needs a wee. Once you have dealt with the wee then you can deal with the poo. Hope this helps x

I would like to know how old the baby is. She sounds like she is ready to go, so let her, sit her on the potty more throughout the day, and that will eventually have her using it more often. Also, let her go into the bathroom and watch you. But her some pull ups and show her how to use them. This works, ONLY if she really is ready. don't get frustrated, and force her to do it. She will do good with it!

I'd go for it! All i did was when we were starting to train ours was just have her in knickers in the house - every 40 minutes i'd ask if she wanted a wee. To be honest there were hardly any accidents xx

try a toilet training seat (you will also need a step). mine loved being like mum,dad or even their older siblings. they were'nt to fussed on the toilet without the training seat as they thought they were going to fall down LOL.it even makes them independent and little ones love that.
