Which is good to drink....?
It is essential for everyone to drink adequate water everyday to keep ourselves well hydrated. But could anyone suggest and possibly rationalize what should be the temperature of water which is favourable to the body and why. Thanx.

The closer to body temperature the better. If it's too cold the body has to warm it up, and too hot well, ouch. One warmer glass of water with a lemon when you 1st wake up is good for a cleanse and helping the body to start functioning again.

drinking water at body temperature is best, because then the body won't lose energy heating/cooling your tummy back to body temperature.

but does it really matter? in asia, drinking warm/hot beverages with meals is customary -- and asians are generally healthier than north americans.

so... i don't think it's a big deal either way... it's pretty much personal choice.

I don't think it matters what the temp of the water is. Cold water is more refreshing obviously. But when you drink hot water, you get the warming sensation. Its all up to you.

I think room temp is best because there's no shock to your system when you're drinking it.
Personally I drink warm during the cold months and cold during the hot months.

Room temperature is easier to drink therefore you will drink more and then more likely to drink the eight glasses.

Water is best drunk at room temperature. Better & more quickly absorbed into your system. Particularly important if jogging.
