It could be a number of different things. When I first got my period, I was right on target with the time of the month for a good 2 years, and then after that, I started fluxuating. Now, at certain times of the year I start at the beginning of the month, and at certain times of the year, I go to the end of the month.

Give it some time, and just watch for the warning signs that it's going to start. Keep a calendar to track it (it will help your doctor if there is ever something wrong). I usually put a red dot on the date, or even just a black dot. Nobody will know what it is, unless you tell them. (or keep it in your diary).

You will be fine...the body does what it needs to do on it's own.

This is totally nothing to worry about. It's perfectly normal, in fact it happened to me and most of my friends that way. The first time or the first couple of times might be irregular. It just takes a little while to make such a transition. Now with some women it will always be irregular...you should know if you're one of them after another year (at the latest). In that case, you can ask your doctor about birth control if you want to regulate your periods.

When you first start you can hit and miss, sometimes it can be up to a year before it cycles again. If you are sexually active though you better go to the nearest store and pick up a test to make sure.

you probably are not going to be regular for a little while. I was about your age when i got mine but i can't remember that long ago. You are probably fine. If you are really concerned then ask your mom or another female adult. even your school nurse would probably be more then helpful. dont be embarresed, every women has it.

You just don't start off and have it every 28 days from that day forward. This is a new time for your body, and it's going to take awhile before you're "regular"

Very few women have regular periods that early on. Some never have regular periods. Its normal.

it's an irregular period. you're new to this, so your body is adjusting. it's something new...the cycle is messed up right now, b/c you've only had your period once. give it time. they're always weird in the beginning.

call a doctor. It could be a sign of hormonal problems. It could be normal because you're young, but usually it's not the case. And of course, I hope you're not suspecting pregnancy, are you??

Don't worry about it. Many girls have irregular periods when they are first starting out. You might just be skipping it this month. It's common.
