my tax preparer charges $25 for people in her "specialty" business wich is selling Avon, and $40 for everyone else.
Another friend of mine who used to do my taxes charged a good meal. We would have his family over for dinner one night and he would do our taxes while there.

I do my own taxes (for the past 10 years) now with turbotax. PIck up turbotax its like 50 bucks or send me your docs. I'll do it for 50.
