I meet a guy and we've been talking on and off sense I was in 10th grade and now after a year of admitting all the things i've done, bringing him food, and letting him have as he please, he still doesn't get it!

Just hang in there – Guys are not clueless, they don’t think or feel as women do.

Your already in a predicament – you and him already have an understanding as to how your relationship/friendship is. Now that you want more, the arrangement you have with him gets frustrating because the more things you do, you start feeling like your getting nothing in return, maybe feeling a little used.

Have you told him how you felt? The best thing you can do is confront him about your feelings to see where his head is at.

You need to know and decided what you want. If you want to be in a relationship then you need to set the basis for it. Women tend to have the inclination to be in relationship, fall in love, and think of marriage. Most men (depending on how they were raised) shy away from committed long term relationships, because they know NOW they are not ready for that type of commitment and don’t want to hurt anyone so they have “friends”.

I went through the same thing, I finally opened up to my guy about my feelings he told me cared for me too, however we always seemed to be into each other at different times. So we NEVER to this day were in a relationship.

What I appreciated is he even admitted, years later when we talked about it again, was that he wouldn’t have been a good boyfriend he was young and just trying to have fun, and didn’t know how to be in relationship. He said he respected to much to hurt me, and that there would be no point in dating because he might as well put a ring on my finger now. This helped me realize that as much as I cared for him I wasn’t going to wait around for him to be with me AFTER he had his fun.

Find a man who respects you for you NOW, and appreciates you for what you do, and who you are NOW, because then your not wasting you love on someone who doesn’t deserve it.

Good Luck

I have to admit I don't get it either.? If you like this guy clues are not the way to tell him. Why do people think clues are the way to let someone know you like them? If you like someone or don't like them just say it flat out. No clues, food, sex, winks, smiles, notes, text, chats,! Just say I like you I want to have a relationship with you. How do you feel about me? That's it. This is the one and only way to get whatever it is you want from him. How can he be clueless when all you've given him is clues? He's answer less .

The more accurate question is why are you so clueless. He has gotten everything he wanted from you. What did you think he was going to fall madly in love with you and live happily ever after. Come on kid, open your eyes. What would you tell a friend who said this. You got used and you helped him use you.

Guys think in black and white. There is no gray area. Sometimes you just have to break it down for them! It seems like you like him. Tell him already! If he hasn't gotten the hint after all this time, he'll never get it unless you tell him.

When you do tell him, be sincere. Guys hate confrontation. Just be yourself and follow your heart.

If you get the response you're looking for, take things from there. If he doesn't give you the response you want, MOVE ON! It may be hard at first, but you don't need to waste anymore time on someone who isn't interested in you.

Trust me. There ARE other guys out there that are worth your time. I wish you the best and good luck! ;)

Guys, sometimes don't get it. If there is something that you want him to know the best way to do it is just tell him. Don't drop subtle hints or things like that because he may read into it the wrong way. just come out and express to him how you feel about him and ask him if he shares the same feelings for you. Don't assume that he gets it.

Most guys are clueless when it comes to romance. It is a learned practice. Looks like you got a bad one. Sorry.

He might not be attracted to you and just can't seem to break it to you in a comfortable way. Or if you've known for a long time he might just think it's the way you are and that you're just friends.
