go driving with a calm friend or family member and this will get you more at ease with driving with someone in the vehicle. remember the most they can do is fail you no biggie you can retry again. its not like they can kill you or take away your birthday.

You need stay calm when taking the test! That is the hardest part becuase you are in fact taking a test. How nerve wracking. Just take your time, and don't feel like you have be perfect. There is room for error, and the person sitting next to you knows that.
Also, if they see you are more nervous than most people, they cannot allow themselves to have an extremely nervous person driving the roads. That is more dangerous than you would think.
So...get a little more practice, and more comfortable!

Take a natural calming tablet before hand. I failed 4 times and passed the time I took a calming tablet. I know exactly how you feel!!! Try not to use caffiene or other stimulants that will make you more nervous!!! You can also drink camomile tea to calm your nerves and wear something with lavender oil (cream or perfume) that will also calm you down. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
I did, relax and go for it! xx

god, been there done that!!
i was a nervous wreck for my first teat and the examiner actually said that i was too nervous a driver to pass.
i just went out for loads more practice with a calm person (normally my dad or sometimes my best mates brother) the more i went out on the road the more confident i became.
it is just a case of facing your demons and working through it.
Good Luck
p.s. i passed on my 2nd attempt

hi
we have all been there and been nervous
we get nervous because we are in strange places and under pressure
you need more general driving experience to become more at ease with driving a car
then you need to concentrate on the
more difficult techniques
when your more able drive around your local test centre to get a feel of the area you will be tested in
look around you and become more aware of road markings ,hazards
get to know the car your driving be happy and comfortable with it
get the feel of it as it will become an extension of your arms and legs when your driving it
if your not happy with it then you wont be relaxed
may be a different instructor may help

Do you know why you are not passing the test? Maybe you get get an evaluation for driving with an occupational therapist and maby even special lessons with an occupational therapist. Sometimes learning problems, motor skill problems, and poor reaction time can be compensated for. An occupational therapist might be able to help you.

Honey,
It doesn't ease up even when you've passed,
I'm still a wreck despite passing 1st time.
Take this hint and i'm serious, eat bananas before your next test, They will give you energy and stop you feeling sick
