You are not ready to drive yet.

If the mark is on the wheel do you mean the metal wheel or the rubber.

For the rubber portion just clean it with steel wool and comet (and soap an water of course)

For the metal part, go to an autostore and get some rubbing compound and work out the mark. Afterwards re-wax it. Do this carefully and in a small spot first to make sure you are not removing paint by accident.

You are stuck with the scratch.

BUT....

In the long run, you should tell your dad for two reasons.

1) He will be mad but he will forgive you. And he will be a lot less angry if you tell him then if he finds out. You might even clear the decks and cop to the scratch in the rear from before.
(Besides... what if he Reads Yahoo Ansers - grin). After you tell him show him what you plan to do to fix it and ask for his help. That will ease things up a bit. (And remember to thank him for it if he gives it !!)

2) IF that scratch you put on your friend's car is actually a bit larger then you thought, and IF your friend knows you did it and IF they want to get it fixed and contact your Dad.. all hell is going to break lose for you and your dad is going to have to explain to his insurance company why he didn't know about it in the first place.

3) You need to practice driving a bit more as well as take an active part in maintaining your car. That will teach you how to take care of stuff like this. Spend a Sat. with your dad if he works on the cars.

(you can sort of tell I am in the dad's shoes can't you)

sooooooooooooooooo.........

Cowboy (or girl I guess) up.

But you prob. already knew this didn't you? Now go do the right thing.

Pay more attention when you drive. It's not the end of the world, however. When I was seventeen I tried to drive my mom's 1967 Buick LeSabre/titanic between the posts in a parking lot. - flattened the left back door (from its normal bulbous shape). My dad was peee-o'd too. That was after I jump started a car with the cables backwards and he had to replace the wiring harness. All in all, I think I did more damage than you. :)

save your mouth close. in the journey that they knew who did it, they'd have dealt with it by now. As a collection, ask for forgiveness and grant to write down the employer and tell them you've been in simple terms being immature. If I were you, i'd get some thing of the youngsters jointly and be professional-lively. pass to whoever is in cost first element and do not look ahead to them to call you down. tell them that you're going to carry out a touch provider artwork on the college or regardless of... Have had written apologies already written to the college about how stupid you've been. Beg for his or her forgiveness and cry -and be truthful. each individual on the face of this planet has performed some thing stupid, many circumstances over. they have been on your shoes. do not sensible off to them and optimistically they're going to tutor you some mercy. acceptable desires. it will be ok.

Well just tell him the truth, lying is no good as I'm sure we all know. Like someone else said I would offer to pay for it, too. Good luck hope it all goes ok

P.S. I did the same thing..hit my moms car and messed up the part above the wheel. Don't feel bad about it, cuz it's happened to other people too lol

Well I would go to the dentist and get a set of dentures made it sounds like you are going to need them very soon. The thing that really gets me is that you said you were driving out of your house what in the hell was your car doing in the house in the first place.
You really need to go back to drivers ed.

Honestly, you are not fully ready to drive a car without any trouble even though you have a license. So I think you need more practice and training.

Take the car to a detail shop and ask if they can buff it out. It might cost you $100 bucks, but it might be worth it.
