My cat is very annoying. She is 1 1/2 yrs. we can't let her in our rooms because she just keeps us up all night meowing and playing. We try to keep her up so that she is tired at night but it doesn't work. My husband wants to get rid of her but my son doesn't. She is a Torby (a tortiseshell/tabby mix) and I heard that they are crazy cats. Will she settle down and not be such a pain or do we give her to a farm? HELP!!!

if she is not fixed then there is your problem...if she is then your not giving her enoff attention, you got the cat it is your resposiblity to take care of it not matter how annoying it is, you cant just give away a animal cuz you dont like it.

farm her off.. she will not change... a cat is a long tem responsibility,(i know you know this) but you want the cat to be happy right? it would not be fair to her to have her in a house where she is resented for just being herself.. if there is a better environment for her say a farm them do it and get your son another pet.. and just communicate with him that it is best for the cat..which it is. If he at first does not like the idea well, too bad.. he'll get over it quick enough!..

good luck

have you had her fixed? this might settle her down some. she may just want some love and affection and be a very needy cat

I know all about such cats, but please don't give her away. It's traumatizing. I suggest getting them "fixed" which tends to settle them down.
